The Gold Coast SUNS have agreed to a pick swap with the Collingwood Football Club.

The SUNS will receive a 2022 2nd Round Selection, 2022 3rd Round Selection and 2022 4th Round Selection to help strengthen the club’s draft hand next year.

In exchange the club will send its Round 2 (Pick 22), Round 3 (Pick 46), Round 3 (Pick 58), Round 5 (Pick 79) selections and a future 4th Round selection to Collingwood.

As General Manager Player Talent and Strategy Craig Cameron alluded to on his Trade Period preview for goldcoastfc.com.au a successful trade period would see us maintain a strong draft hand for 2021 but also set ourselves up with a strong future draft position.

“We will take a minimum number (3) of selections in this year’s draft, so the important thing for us will then be to maintain or improve on our draft collateral in future years,” Cameron said.

The Gold Coast SUNS now hold selections 3, 19, 55, and 66 at the 2021 NAB AFL Draft.
