The Gold Coast SUNS have made two changes to the team to take on Geelong at Metricon Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Key forward Sam Day returns to the lineup after booting six goals in his last two VFL matches.

He’s joined by Sam Flanders who also returns for his first match since the QClash in Round 19.

Coming out of the team is Nick Holman, who will miss with a back complaint, and Jeremy Sharp who has been omitted.

Rory Atkins was last week’s unused medical substitute and has been named on the emergency list again alongside Sharp, Jack Bowes and Brayden Fiorini.

One of those four will be named as this week’s medical substitute 60 minutes prior to first bounce on Saturday.

This week will be Member Thank You Round at Metricon Stadium, with a range of initiatives planned to thank members for their support in helping the club reach a membership number of 20,000 for the first time in club history.

Members and fans are encouraged to arrive early, with former captain Gary Ablett Jnr to be presented with SUNS Life Membership in Saturday’s pre-game coverage.

There will be a VFL curtain raiser, with the SUNS fighting for a spot in the VFL finals, taking on Southport at 12:35pm (gates open 12:30pm).

The SUNS AFLW squad will also play a pre-season practice match against Geelong on Austworld Centre Oval, click here to watch the live stream from 12:25pm.
