The Gold Coast SUNS are set to challenge North Melbourne in the VFL tomorrow, with a win guaranteeing finals footy for the club.

The SUNS boast 11 wins for the season so far, winning their past five consecutive matches, meanwhile North have only nabbed the four points in one of their last six games.

Jeremy Sharp returns to the VFL side after being named as medisub last week in the AFL and will provide some outside spark and experience through the midfield.

Hewago Oea and Alex Sexton have been elevated to the senior team ahead of their Round 23 fixture against North Melbourne.

Due to concussion protocols, Rory Atkins has also been deemed ineligible to play in Saturday's clash.

Meanwhile Jack Bowes, Chris Burgess, Charlie Constable and James Tsitas have been named as emergencies – with one of which to be named medisub for the AFL side and will be unavailable for the VFL clash.

The Round 22 VFL match against North Melbourne is the final fixture in the home and away season, with finals to be determined at the conclusion of the round.

A determined SUNS side will do battle against the Kangaroos at Arden Street Oval from 10:30am on Saturday, with the match streamed across the VFL mobile app and https://www.afl.com.au/vfl/fixture.
