Noah Anderson has taken his football to another level in 2022, taking out the Emerging Player Award and positioning himself amongst the club’s elite despite being just 21 years of age.

The talented third year player was a solid contributor for the Gold Coast SUNS throughout the club’s record-breaking season and found real consistency to his game.

He also firmly established himself in the SUNS history books, kicking a goal after the siren against Richmond in Round 17 to seal an important win in front of a home Metricon Stadium crowd.

SUNS coaches and teammates would be equally impressed with his efforts week in, week out through the midfield, ranking second at the club for disposals, third for clearances and first for inside 50s.

The midfielder also showed a knack in front of goals, kicking 11 majors for the season and adding a new attacking edge to his game.

Year on year Anderson either equalled or bettered his previous career bests across all key midfield statistics in 2022 – including disposals (35), tackles (seven), clearances (10) and inside 50s (11).
