The Gold Coast SUNS will head into Sunday’s clash against Port Adelaide with two changes from the side that saw off St Kilda in Mackay last weekend.

Former Bond University products Shannon Danckert and Annise Bradfield will return to the 21-player squad to face the Power.

Round 4 debutant Gabrielle Biedenweg-Webster will be unavailable after pulling up sore from last Saturday’s win over St Kilda while Lucy Single has also been omitted, named as an emergency alongside Jasmyn Smith and Krystal Scott.

Vivien Saad will anchor the SUNS defence in her 30th AFLW game while the likes of Charlie Rowbottom and Ellie Hampson will have critical roles in midfield against one of the AFLW’s strongest contested teams.

The SUNS will be eyeing back-to-back wins for the first time in Season Seven whilst also defending an unbeaten home record.

Entry to Bond University Oval is free with gates opening at 12.30pm ahead of a 1.10pm start.
