The Gold Coast SUNS can confirm key forward Mabior Chol has requested a trade to Hawthorn in the upcoming Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period.
Chol is contracted until the end of 2025, playing eight AFL games in 2023 and spearheading the club’s VFL Premiership campaign where he kicked nine goals in total across the Preliminary and Grand Final.
The club will work to execute a deal with Hawthorn that aligns with its strategy in the Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period which opens on Monday October 9.
