The Gold Coast SUNS have secured a trade with Hawthorn for Mabior Chol.
Chol heads to the Hawks alongside Pick 62, with the SUNS receiving a 2024 second-round pick tied to Brisbane in exchange.
“Mabior is looking for more opportunity at AFL level next year which would have been limited at the SUNS next year, so we believe this trade is in everyone’s best interests,” GC SUNS General Manager of Player Talent & Strategy Craig Cameron said.
“Pleasingly and in line with our strategy, we’ve been able to secure a future second-round selection in return which strengthens our hand for next year.”
The Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period concludes at 7:30pm AEDT tonight.
