Cameron Joyce has made three changes to his side for Friday night’s penultimate AFLW home & away season fixture against the Giants at Heritage Bank Stadium.
Tahlia Meyer is among the three inclusions and will play her first game of the 2023 season while midfielder Ella Maurer also returns to the side for the first time since Round 5 for her second game in SUNS colours.
After missing last week with a shoulder complaint, Meara Girvan has also been named in the 21-player squad.
Lucy Single is unavailable for selection serving a one-game suspension while Alana Gee and Clara Fitzpatrick have been omitted.
Gold Coast is eyeing a maiden win over the Giants and a victory would see the SUNS reach its highest points tally in a single AFLW season.
The SUNS are celebrating Thank You Round this Friday night at Heritage Bank Stadium to recognise the incredible support through the 2023 AFLW season from the club’s dedicated members and supporters, both home and away.
