The Gold Coast SUNS are today proud to announce a four-year contract extension with official on-field apparel partner New Balance & Belgravia Sports.

New Balance first joined the SUNS in 2020, with this new deal extending their relationship with the club to seven years.

Gold Coast SUNS Chief Executive Mark Evans said the club was thrilled to continue the relationship with the international sportswear icon.

“We’re delighted New Balance has signed on with us for the long-term in what shapes as an exciting period coming up for the Gold Coast SUNS,” Evans said.

“Like the SUNS, New Balance and Belgravia has a focus on providing the best possible products and service to its customers, and that extends to our SUNS members who have had access to some great benefits thanks to New Balance.

“We look forward to continuing this great relationship for an additional four years.”

The announcement coincides with the Gold Coast SUNS’ first day of pre-season training, where the club’s players have been wearing the new 2024 training apparel thanks to New Balance.

The SUNS will also don a revamped home and away New Balance playing guernsey on-field in 2024.

The minor tweaks to the 2024 Home Guernsey will see yellow piping at the top across the shoulders, as well as a blue stripe down each panel on the front.

The changes allow the club to use more of its secondary colours on the design; yellow and blue.

For the first time, the club’s 2024 AFL Away Guernsey will feature a permanent Indigenous design, inspired by SUNS defender Jy Farrar’s artwork Our Cultural Journey.

Our Cultural Journey is a piece of community artwork which was also featured prominently on the SUNS’ 2023 Indigenous Guernsey.

The artwork on the 2024 Away Guernsey represents the Gold Coast community coming together and travelling with the SUNS when we play away.

The 2024 Clash Guernsey remains the same as 2023, with the predominately blue design.

New Balance Australia Marketing Manager, Joel Hanlon, said the organisation was thrilled to continue its relationship with the SUNS long-term.

“At New Balance, our job is to aid athletes in their pursuit of excellent, whether that means helping professional athletes win medals, or propelling everyday athletes and members of the community to live a healthy and active lifestyle,” Hanlon said.

“We are proud to extend and grow our partnership with GC Suns and look forward to seeing the suns wearing their new 2024 uniform, which offers the perfect blend of performance technology and style.”
