The Gold Coast SUNS VFL squad will launch the 2026 Smithy’s VFL season in front of home fans on Sunday March 22.

The SUNS are set to take on Werribee from 11:05am at People First Stadium in an epic 2023 Grand Final rematch in which the Gold Coast 17.10 (112) defeated the Big W 14.9 (93) to claim its first premiership cup.

The SUNS last faced the Tigers in Round 10, 2024 and finished two tiers ahead of the 16^th placed Werribee on the 2025 ladder.

Ticketing and parking details will be updated closer via the Game Day Guide, with the full fixture for the 2026 Smithy’s VFL season to also be released in the coming weeks.
