SUNS skipper Noah Anderson is the leader in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year race following Saturday’s win over Essendon.
Anderson was one of three SUNS players to receive votes, polling five alongside Joel Jeffrey (seven) and Touk Miller (six).
The votes taken Anderson’s season total to 69 and has him level at the helm alongside Collingwood’s Nick Daicos, three ahead of former leader Bailey Smith, also with a game in hand on the remainder of the competition.
Miller has also soared into the leaderboard’s Top 15 with his season tally now sitting at 50 votes.
