Gold Coast SUNS vice-captain Sam Collins has taken out the maiden Hostplus Player of the Finals Series at Wednesday night’s SUNS Club Champion.
The 31-year-old was a towering presence inside defensive 50 during the club’s inaugural Finals campaign, going toe-to-toe against several of the AFL’s most potent key forwards.
On the cusp of 150 AFL matches, Sam Collins was one of the SUNS’ most consistent performers yet again in 2025, with the vice-captain’s experience shining throughout the finals series.
He was also named in the All Australian squad for a second consecutive season.
