It’s back! The Gold Coast SUNS’ iconic pink guernsey will make its much-anticipated return for Gather Round in 2026.
The trailblazing design broke new ground as the AFL’s first predominantly pink guernsey in 2025, and by popular demand, will be donned once again by the SUNS as the AFL world converges on South Australia in Round 5.
Worn for the first time in Gather Round last season, and again in several matches including the semi-final against the Brisbane Lions, the pink design reflects the evolution of the club and its breakway from long-standing traditions.
The updated design maintains several existing features, including the iconic waveform.
The guernsey is the hero piece in the SUNS’ highly successful Pink Collection merchandise range which encompasses on-field and lifestyle items and sold out on several occasions throughout 2025.
A revamped Pink Collection will include several new items alongside the Pink Guernsey, which will be exclusively available through the SUNS Shop online and at People First Stadium on gamedays, as well as throughout Gather Round in Adelaide.
“After a highly successful first edition of our Pink Guernsey, it was a simple decision to bring back a slightly modified design for Gather Round in 2026,” GC SUNS CEO Mark Evans said.
“When we launched our new brand almost 18 months ago, we said that we will be unashamedly bold in our ambitions to be a leading force in the AFL, to push boundaries and to break away from traditions, and that is symbolised through this pink design.
“The feedback we received and the demand we saw for the guernsey, and the rest of our pink merchandise items in 2025 was incredible. Retail sales were at record levels and through the Pink Collection, we were able to welcome a new audience into our club and to the sport.
“The SUNS are the hottest tick in town and we expect our pink guernsey to be a hot item once again.”
