Defending Brownlow medallist and SUNS Club Champion Matt Rowell is locked in for his first match of the season.

Rowell will return from a finger injury, which has sidelined him for the opening three matches, in Sunday’s clash against Melbourne at the MCG.

StreetSmarts SUNS Academy graduates Jed Walter and Lachie Gulbin will also play their first AFL games of 2026. Gulbin has been included for his second AFL appearance after debuting late in 2025.

The trio come into the side in place of Bailey Humphrey (suspension), Christian Petracca (hamstring) and Alex Davies (omitted).

Davies remains among the emergencies alongside Jy Farrar and Oscar Adams
