The Gold Coast SUNS are pleased to welcome Paige Price onto the AFLW list ahead of the upcoming season.

Price joins as a replacement player for Georgia Clayden who has been moved to the inactive list following the announcement of her pregnancy.

Off the back of a dominant campaign with the Box Hill Hawks where Price averaged 32.4 hitouts and 12.5 disposals in addition to scoring six majors, the 184-cm ruck fittingly earned selection in the 2025 rebel VFLW Team of the Year.

The 23-year-old previously spent time on St Kilda’s list across 2021 - 2022 and is a willing competitor who plays a combative style of game when required to follow up on ground level.

Price’s athleticism has also seen her compete around the world, representing Australia across junior basketball levels before continuing her journey playing Division I in the USA at Indiana University.

“We are excited to see Paige earn her opportunity to move onto our AFLW list,” Gold Coast SUNS General Manager of Women’s Football Erin Phillips said.

“Paige has shown a real commitment and desire to get the best out of herself over the last 12 months, which culminated in her earning selection as the VFLW Team of the Year ruck in 2025.

“We couldn't be happier to provide her the opportunity to continue improving her football now at the top level and look forward to Paige integrating with our group as we continue our pre-season.”
