Ben King has today informed the club of his intention to explore his options as a restricted free agent during the upcoming free agency period.
As a restricted free agent, Gold Coast retains the right to match any offer made to Ben by another club and will consider all options in its best interests.
King has not advised Gold Coast of his desire to join a particular club.
The Free Agency period opens on Friday, October 2.
