Rhyce Shaw has made two changes to the Gold Coast SUNS team set to take on Melbourne in Mackay on Saturday night.

SUNS fans will be excited to see Ellie Veerhuis feature in the side for the first time this season, while Bronte Parker also returns to the mix.

The pair come into the team in place of Lily Mithen (omitted) and Alannah Welsh (omitted).

The SUNS will also welcome a host of players to Mackay, with 12 players set to play at Great Barrier Reef Arena for the first time, including new recruit Anne Hatchard.

The SUNS will take to the field in a new Pride Round guernsey, celebrating self-expression, inclusivity and the club’s commitment to creating a space where everyone belongs. Shop the 2026 Pride Collection from the SUNS Shop.
