David Swallow is a tied winner of Gold Coast’s 2019 Players’ Player award. 

The club’s co-captain shared the award with vice-captain Touk Miller after the pair received equal votes from their teammates at the conclusion of the season.

Swallow played every game this season and finished the year averaging 23 disposals, four marks and four tackles.

The 26-year-old also managed to hit the scoreboard regularly this season, booting 13 goals including some clutch match-winners. 

Promoted to the co-captaincy this year, Swallow’s leadership has been crucial to the club’s development over the last 12 months. 

He continues to embody the club’s values and is one of the most-respected players at the club, making him a worthy winner of the Players’ Player award.
