The Gold Coast SUNS will go into the JLT2 clash against the Sydney Swans in Lismore with four confirmed changes.

Jacob Heron and Aaron Young are the new inclusions joining Pearce Hanley and Jack Hombsch who were named in the starting side on Thursday.

Both will start on the bench with Heron set to play in defence and Young up forward.

Jordan Murdoch has been withdrawn from the side as a precautionary measure after suffering a head knock at training on Friday.

Rory Thompson also comes out of the side after leaving the training track early on Friday morning and requires further assessment.

It gives Ben King the opportunity to show his wares as a key defender, joining Hombsch and Sam Collins.

The AFL has advised the heat policy will be in place, meaning both sides will have an interchange of eight players.

Temperatures are tipped to hit 35 degrees in Lismore on Sunday for the match which will be played at 1:10pm AEDT at Oakes Oval.
