Will Brodie is this week’s Ultra Stainless Security Player of the Round.

In his first game back since Round 6, Brodie was influential in the midfield, racking up 29 disposals and kicking a goal.

He was playing on North’s midfield bull Ben Cunnington and was able to lay nine tackles throughout the match also.

Senior coach Stuart Dew praised Brodie’s efforts against the Roos’ hard midfielder.

“Will made him earn it, it wasn’t all on his terms,” Dew said post-match.

“He’ll take so much out of that, four quarters against that type of player of that size.”

Brodie finished the match with a team-high six clearances as well as 10 contested possessions.
