The Gold Coast SUNS will play on the Gold Coast in week one of the Marsh Community Series against Geelong at 6:40pm local time on Saturday February 22 at Metricon Stadium.

Gold Coast SUNS Acting CEO Simon Fitzgibbon said he was excited that Gold Coasters would get the opportunity to see their team live ahead of the start of the premiership season.

“We are incredibly fortunate to be kicking off our men’s 2020 campaign against Geelong at our home, Metricon Stadium, here on the Coast,” Mr Fitzgibbon said.

“Gold Coasters will have the opportunity to come and see how the team is preparing ahead of the AFL Premiership season and we’ll look to build activity around the fixture in the build up to the AFL season.

“There will be a number of new faces as part of our squad in 2020 and the game at Metricon will provide our members and fans the opportunity to see a number of them in SUNS colours for the first time.”

The club’s second game of the Marsh Community Series will see the GC SUNS head to Noarlunga, South Australia, to face the Crows at Hickinbotham Oval on Friday March 6 at 3:50pm AEST.

Ticketing details will be available on goldcoastfc.com.au soon.
