The Gold Coast SUNS hit Ballina on Sunday as part of the 2012 Australia Post Community Camp.
GC SUNS players conducted a Super Clinic at Ballina High School with over 300 junior participants.
Following the clinic, players took part in and AFL 9's demo match with junior participants and parents.
On Sunday evening the players were joined by GC SUNS Senior Coach Guy McKenna and General Manager - Football Operations, Marcus Ashcroft for a football forum with members of the local AFL community.
GC SUNS skipper Gary Ablett said it was great to join the Northern Rivers region.
“It’s great to spend time with young players and coaches. It’s a good reminder of how we all started our sports careers and gives the team a chance to spend time together away from our usual routine.”
Tomorrow, GC SUNS player will visit 24 schools in the Northern Rivers region, conducting clinics and education sessions.
