The Gold Coast SUNS have made one change to the team to take on Geelong this Friday night at Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay.

Midfielder Hannah Dunn has been ruled out of the match with a calf injury sustained in the match last weekend against North Melbourne.

She’s been replaced in the side by Tori Groves-Little who comes in to play her first game as a SUN.

AFLW Head Physiotherapist Aaron Duffy told SUNS Media Dunn would be re-assessed next week ahead of Round 6.

“Hannah reported some calf pain following the game on the weekend and was sent for an MRI,” Duffy said.

“Those results unfortunately have come back with a small tear in her calf so she’s started her rehab with us this week and we expect that to progress pretty quickly.

“She’s unavailable for Round 5 but we’ll monitor her next week before deciding on her availability for Round 6.”

Dunn’s unfortunate news means Groves-Little gets her opportunity, named to start on the half-back line.

The match against Geelong in Mackay will be the club’s first ever Friday night match for Premiership points.

The match will kick off at 6:10pm AEST.

Members and fans who are unable to get to the AFLW game can watch it LIVE on Fox Footy, Kayo or 7Mate from 4pm AEST (check your local guides).

All matches are also streamed LIVE via www.womens.afl and the AFLW Official App.
