Aaron Hall
The 21-year-old from Hobart, flew up to the Gold Coast to train with the GC SUNS following the 2011 Draft and after impressing recruiters and coaches on the training track, Hall has been rewarded with a place on Gold Coast SUNS senior list.
The versatile Hall played in a number of positions for Hobart in 2011, starting the year as a forward before excelling late across halfback, where he caught the attention of a number of AFL recruiting scouts in the final game of the year against Lauderdale.
Hall is the son of former Hobart premiership player and Sydney Swans draftee Dale.

Kyal Horsley
Originally from Kalgoorlie City, Horlsey won the 2011 Best & Fairest with WAFL club Subiaco and finished second in the Sandover Medal (WAFL’s MVP).
Horsley has played 89 WAFL games and comes to the GC SUNS as a ready made AFL player whose body shape and size will provide added protection for the clubs young list.
A long left foot kick, Horsely has been on the radar of a number of clubs as a mature age recruit.

Andrew McQulater
Former Saint Andrew McQualter has been drafted onto the GC SUNS rookie list for the 2012 season. McQualter has been recruited to play an important leadership role with the GC SUNS reserves team in NEAFL.
He was drafted by the St Kilda Football Club in the 2004 NAB AFL Draft as a 1st round selection, pick 17 overall.
McQualter played 89 games for the Saints including the clubs three Grand Final’s in recent years, he has played ten finals matches having secured a spot in the successful St Kilda team.

Michael Coad
After two injury interrupted season, the 27-year-old will remain with the GC SUNS on the clubs rookie list.
Coad was originally signed as a mature-age recruit for the 2010 VFL season. He played the first eight games before colliding with Shaun Hampson against Northern Bullants. During the collision he sustained bleeding of the kidney and broken ribs that put him in intensive care in hospital.
After coming back from that setback, Coad played his only two AFL matches for the GC SUNS this year against the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne, before a severe hamstring tear brought him down once again.
Selection 94 - Queensland Selection
Josh Hall
The Gold Coast SUNS recruit another Queenslander, with North Queensland’s Josh Hall being selected by the club in the 2011 Rookie Draft.
An elite High Jumper from Townsville, Hall has been playing football for just two years.
Gold Coast SUNS Talent Academy Manager Andrew Johnston saw Hall training with his local team while in North Queensland with the SUNS Academy.
With the recruiters the next to watch Hall, it wasn’t long before he was invited down to train with the GC SUNS NEAFL team.
