Jaeger O’Meara looks set to make his AFL debut against St. Kilda this Saturday night, with the Gold Coast SUNS expected to name the elite youngster in the 22-man squad tomorrow afternoon.

The teenage sensation has enjoyed a stellar pre-season campaign through the NAB Cup, which included a best-on-ground performance for the GC SUNS where he notched up 24 possessions in the side’s 36-point loss to the Sydney earlier this month.

The West Australian was the GC SUNS prized selection in the 2011 mini draft, after the club willingly exchanged their first selection (no. 2) in the 2012 AFL Draft to secure the future AFL star.

The GC SUNS are currently on the training track at Metricon Stadium, the talented 19-year-old is expected to speak to the media following the session.
