With just a month to go before Skypoint Climb, Q1, officially opens to adventure seeking guests, Gold Coast SUNS players Gary Ablett and Karmichael Hunt donned hard hats and toured the new attraction.

Still in its final stages of construction, Ablett and Hunt stepped out on to the Climb stairs dressed in a full body Climb suit, harness and hard hat to experience the exhilaration of the Gold Coast’s newest adventure attraction that has claimed the title of Australia’s tallest external building walk.

Gold Coast SUNS skipper Gary Ablett couldn’t believe the views, telling goldcoastfc.com.au that there was nowhere else that you could experience views like this.

“It’s amazing up here, the views are unbelievable.

“This is a world class experience. It’s great to see the Gold Coast achieving another Australian record for the highest building walk,” Ablett said.

Ablett’s teammate, Karmichael Hunt said the climb offered great views of the Coast.

“This is the best vantage point to see the Gold Coast’s, beaches, city and hinterland.

“It’s a thrill to be in the open air this high up. I’ve taken a look over the side, and my heart is still racing,” Hunt said.
