With the fun and drama of the AFL Trade and Free Agency period about to begin, the AFL has confirmed this year's official draft order.

The SUNS head into the Trade window with six selections in the upcoming NAB AFL Draft; picks 5, 24, 33, 70, 78 and 96.

Geelong holds Gold Coast’s mid first-round concession pick (currently pick 11) which was received in 2019 from the AFL Commission but was traded from the SUNS to the Cats in last year’s draft to acquire Jeremy Sharp.

Picks 33 and 70 are also selections which were acquired by the SUNS in a pick swap with Brisbane in 2019.

The AFL also announced earlier this month that the SUNS would be disallowed from trading its 2021 start of second round concession pick.

The club will once again be allowed to pre-list any Academy players without having to match bids this year, although this concession will be reassessed by the AFL in 2021.

With the free agency window set to begin on Friday, the below order will change as compensation picks are revealed.

The Trade Period official begins on November 4, while the NAB AFL Draft will be held during the week commencing December 7.
