The Gold Coast SUNS have made one change to their side for the newly fixtured Round 2 QClash against Brisbane on Sunday afternoon at Hickey Park.
Georgia Bevan will make her club in the SUNS midfield just 12 days after being picked up by the club as an injury replacement for Jacqui Yorston.
Bevan, 27, has 13 games of AFLW experience to her name having played two seasons for the Adelaide Crows, including the club’s 2017 premiership at Metricon Stadium.
Paige Parker has been omitted from the side that matched a Demons side for three quarters in Round 1.
David Lake’s side will be looking to take the many positives out of a solid performance against the Demons into Sunday’s game against their Queensland rivals.
Kalinda Howarth and Annise Bradfield have both been declared fit to play after training strongly throughout the week.
The QClash cup is still up for grabs with the first AFLW clash between the two sides in 2020 ending in a draw.
As the game is still a SUNS away match, SUNS AFLW members will unfortunately not receive complimentary access to the match.
The original game scheduled for this time and venue, Brisbane v Geelong, was a sell-out and as a result there are no further tickets available for the game.
SUNS fans are encouraged to support the team from home and tune in on 7Mate, Foxtel, Kayo or live on the AFLW App. Check the AFLW Broadcast Guide for local information.
It’s a new venue for more than a dozen SUNS players tomorrow, as SUNS chase their first win in Tassie.
