The GWS Giants hung on for the win in a tough contest at Blacktown International Sportspark on Saturday afternoon and although a SUNS side fought hard all afternoon, it wasn’t quite enough to get over the line.

In a wet affair, ball movement was tough and there was plenty of contest’s around the ground and that’s where we find some of our Tribal SV Performance Player of the Round nominees.

Alison Drennan started the game like she’d brought her own footy amassing 11 disposals in the first quarter and finishing with 21 touches and 12 tackles for the day.

After a tough week in Round 2, Jamie Stanton was back to her bustling best and worked hard through the middle of the ground all afternoon with 15 disposals and five tackles and kicked a late goal.

In her short AFL career so far, Maddison Levi has proven that she loves the contest and delivered again today with six big tackles

Lauren Ahrens continued her strong start to the 2021 NAB AFLW season with 17 disposals, six marks and two tackles.

Serene Watson’s magnet has been in a couple of different positions throughout the first three rounds, but she had her strongest performance of the year so far with 13 disposals and eight tackles.

After securing AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year votes for her performance in Round 2, Lauren Bella backed it up against the GIANTS, tireless as she toiled away in the ruck with eight possessions and 20 hitouts.

Who do you think should be the Tribal SV Performance Player of the Round?
