The Gold Coast SUNS have made three changes to their side for the Round 6 fixture against the Adelaide Crows, on Saturday afternoon.

The young SUNS side will come up against one of the competition’s premiere sides since its inception but will be boosted by the inclusion of some experienced campaigners in Leah Kaslar and Sam Virgo.

Kaslar was a late withdrawal from the Round 5 game against the Eagles with an ankle injury she picked up at training but returns and will be looking to make an impact after being named on the interchange bench.

Captain Sam Virgo returns to the side after missing the last two weeks and Academy product Tori Groves-Little will make her first appearance for the SUNS in 2021 as she lines up at full-forward.

The SUNS Match Committee has taken a cautious approach with Georgia Bevan and Madison Levi who were both listed as test’s in this week’s Qscan Injury Update.

Sarah Perkins will also miss the remainder of the 2021 NAB AFL Competition after it was reported earlier this week she had suffered an MCL injury in her right knee.

The Round 6 game against the Adelaide Crows will be played at Norwood Oval, Adelaide on Saturday at 4:40pm AWST (4.10pm ACDT), with a Gold Coast side looking to continue their string of strong performances in recent weeks.

The match will be broadcast live on the Seven Network, FOX FOOTY and Kayo. Matches will also be streamed live via womens.afl and the AFLW Live Official App.
