Three Gold Coast children are now without their mother, and our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Kelly Wilkinson.

Following the tragic events surrounding Kelly and her young family the Gold Coast SUNS, our players and staff, wish to re-affirm our commitment to educate and create awareness around the prevention of Domestic and Family Violence.

A young Gold Coast mother, Kelly is the fourth Queensland woman to allegedly be killed by a current or former partner so far in 2021.

We are passionate and committed to our partnership with Major Charity Partner RizeUp Australia and we know every single one of us plays a role in creating a brighter future for families affected by Domestic and Family Violence.

As individuals, as a team and as a club, we can:

  • Look after our friends and family, our neighbours and colleagues
  • Ask if they’re okay?
  • Hold our friends and family accountable for their attitudes and behaviours
  • Understand the drivers to violence against women and children

The Gold Coast SUNS will not tolerate Domestic and Family violence

If you or anyone you know is affected by domestic or family violence contact 1800RESPECT (1800 737 732) or if you are in immediate danger call 000.
