The Gold Coast SUNS will be out supporting the Gold Coast Community in a big way, when the club and its entire playing list participate in the inaugural White Christmas Charity Event at Movieworld on the Gold Coast this Friday evening.
The White Christmas Charity Event which is a joint community initiative of the Gold Coast SUNS, Gold Coast Bulletin, Movieworld and the Gold Coast Community Benefit Fund, will provide 3000 of the most needy and disadvantaged Gold Coasters with a night they wont forget.
The night has been created to help bring a smile to the faces of those impacted by Youth Homelessness on the Gold Coast, Domestic Violence on the Gold Coast and those in need in the Northern Growth Corridor of the Gold Coast, the Gold Coast SUNS three charity area’s.
Attendees on the night will enjoy :
• A free night out at Movie World for the White Christmas Spectacular including dinner.

Coupled with the event is the White Christmas Charity Fund which opened 5 weeks ago in the lead up to the event, to raise funds for the charities attending the night. After 4 weeks the fund has raised in excess of $25000 for the clubs 3 Gold Coast based charities and the Gold Coast Community benefit fund.
Gold Coast SUNS Community Programs Officer Corey Bell said “As a club, this is an event we have been working on for most of the year. To see this concept finally come to life to benefit 3000 of the most needy people of the Gold Coast Community is something this club is very proud of”
