A taller defender who loves to rebound, Watson had an excellent season in 2021. Having played every game in the 2021 AFLW season, Watson had a breakout second season, finishing sixth in the 2021 SUNS Club Champion. She's a powerful runner who is capable of moving up to the wing or into the midfield and is a future leader of the SUNS. Watson made history when she became the first player to be drafted to the SUNS AFLW team, taken with pick 18 in the 2019 AFLW Draft. A Southport Sharks and Broadbeach junior, she has been in the SUNS Academy since the age of 15.
