Finally found his best position as he settled into the SUNS last line of defence and played every game, bringing up his 50 while averaging career-bests in disposals (18.8), marks (5.6) and rebounds (4.9). Also hit the scoreboard with five goals on rare forays forward. Hit 30 touches for the first time with 32, 10 marks, 10 rebounds and a goal against Essendon and had similarly brilliant performances against Brisbane and St Kilda later in the season. The Northern Territory product is an exciting prospect for years to come on the Gold Coast.
