The veteran defender was the SUNS inaugural co-captain in 2020 and once again takes the leadership role on in 2021. Virgo reads the play well at half-back and is a good distributor of the ball, mixing creativity and control. She can also play forward at a pinch. Virgo brings a raft of experience and leadership to the club and has desires to develop her coaching in the future.
