A clever small forward/winger who loves to get the ball in space, Groves-Little’s skill and football knowledge has brought x-factor to the Gold Coast list. After one game in 2020, Groves-Little played three AFLW matches in 2021 having their best year to date. In December 2021, Groves-Little announced themselves as the first non-binary athlete in the AFL Women’s competition, paving the way for others to follow in their stead. Still only 21 years of age, Groves-Little will look forward to a bigger year in 2022.
