Yorston is a bull around the stoppages and loves to win the contested ball however the 20-year-old unfortunately missed the entire 2021 NAB AFLW season with an ACL injury. When fit, she is considered one of the best tacklers in the competition, averaging seven a game in 2020 to go along with 14 disposals. Yorston has come through the elite football pathways, representing Queensland in the NAB AFLW Under 18 Championships where she was named in the All-Australian squad. She previously has a background in netball where she was also a state representative.
