We invite members, fans and the Gold Coast community to join us to celebrate the official start of our 2020 AFL + AFLW Seasons at the HOTA Outdoor Stage.

Where: Home of the Arts (HOTA) – On the lawn at the HOTA Outdoor Stage
Entry: FREE + giveaways for the kids including mini foam footies

5.00pm - DJ Fletcher live onstage
5.30pm - Junior Clubs Player Draft onstage
6.00pm - Hosted by Jess Skarratt and Dan Anstey: women's and men's team guernsey presentations, special coaches announcements, meet our AFL + AFLW players plus lots more.

Food: A range of delicious options will be available from the Food Trucks. Why not arrive early and feast? 
Drinks: Both alcoholic and non alcoholic will be available for purchase. ID is required for 18+ attendees who may wish to purchase alcohol. All minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian if entering Lawn Bar area. Patrons are not permitted to bring alcohol into the event.
Seating: Bring a small picnic rug or basic camping chair (no higher than 100cm) to set-up for the night.
Weather: Should the need arise, wet weather updates will be communicated on this page and the Gold Coast SUNS Season Launch event on Facebook.

Getting to HOTA

Public Transport
We encourage you to use public and active transport to travel to and from the event.
TransLink’s bus, train and tram network can connect you to places all over the Gold Coast. Their integrated network on the Gold Coast includes the G:link trams, Surfside buslines and Queensland Rail.

Ferry Service
From 8 Dec you’ll be able to catch a ferry to HOTA.
Travelling between Surfers and the Broadwater Parklands, with stops at HOTA, Marina Mirage and Sea World, the ferry will provide an alternative way to get here.

Private Transport
A designated set-down and pick-up area is located in the porte-cochère out the front of HOTA. Please see map below.

Parking
Limited parking, including wheelchair accessible parking, is available at the HOTA, Home of the Arts.
