TRAVEL BY FREE BUS
Travel on ALL Transport Canberra services is FREE on game day to holders of a game ticket.
Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of Park & Ride facilities where possible.
AFL Giants v Suns match – 9 August 2026
Free transport to the match: Match ticket holders can travel free on Transport Canberra buses and light rail to the venue on game day, just show your ticket if asked by the driver or light rail officer. Plan your journey using “Manuka Oval” as the destination at https://www.transport.act.gov.au/.
Free transport after the match: Ticket holders can travel for free on regular bus services. Chartered buses will also depart from outside the East Gate to Woden and Civic at approximately 3:50pm. A second set of buses will depart at 4:20pm, with services running via the City Interchange to Belconnen and via the Woden Interchange to Tuggeranong.

Manuka Oval is a public transport destination with no onsite parking. On event days, parking restrictions may apply in the Manuka/Kingston precinct.
Patrons are reminded not to leave valuables in their cars as they are responsible for the security of their own vehicles. Please note that parking on verges and footpaths is not permitted and may result in a fine.
