The AFL has today advised of changes to the Gold Coast SUNS’ Round 6 NAB AFLW Fixture this weekend.

Originally scheduled to play on Sunday afternoon at Southport, the SUNS will now host the Geelong Cats in a primetime fixture at 6:10pm on Friday night at Metricon Stadium.

SUNS Head of Women’s Football Fiona Sessarago said the team was eager to return to Metricon Stadium.

“It’s exciting to be able to play in a primetime fixture under lights on Friday night,” Sessarago said.

“The team loves playing at Metricon Stadium and we hope to see a great crowd in attendance to cheer us on against Geelong.”

The final team to take on the Cats will be announced on Thursday afternoon.

Tickets are just $10 and are available for redemption for SUNS AFLW Game Access members from 12pm, and on sale to the general public from 2pm today through Ticketek, with free entry for SUNS AFLW members.
