Metricon Stadium staff have been placed on full alert after a daring raid by Bernie Gabba Vegas this week which briefly resulted in the QCLASH trophy being removed from it’s home on the Gold Coast and transported up the M1 to Brisbane.
While Sunny Ray put Gold Coast SUNS players Josh Toy and Taylor Hine through an extra skills session at Metricon Stadium, Bernie Gabba Vegas calmly walked through security and snatched the Cup which had been placed out in centre square during a Gold Coast SUNS training session to remind Guy McKenna’s charges that they are playing for way more than Premiership points in QCLASH2 this weekend.
