A whole team performance was responsible for the Gold Coast SUNS 67 point defeat over Hawthorn.

Therefore, it is only fitting that the entire squad is eligible for the Austworld Player of the Round.

Brandon Ellis was a steadying presence for the SUNS across four quarters, with the well-rounded performance resulting in two goals, 24 touches, eight marks and six tackles.

Darwin product Malcolm Rosas Jnr bookended the game, kicking both the first and final goal of the match in front of family and friends.

The impressive performance in Sir Doug Nicholls round saw Rosas equal the top goalscoring mantle for the match with teammate Mabior Chol.

Following on from a dominant performance in Round 10, Joel Jeffrey followed suit in turning it on for his home town, with his own goal the icing on the cake.

Chol continued his record of kicking a game in every appearance for the SUNS so far, with three majors to his name against Hawthorn.

Down back Charlie Ballard was influential with 13 intercepts, while also amassing 18 disposals, six marks and nine one percenters.

Meanwhile, the thankless work of Matt Rowell was pivotal in his side’s relentless pressure and win around the contest, with 13 of his 16 possessions contested, to compliment his seven tackles.
