A pair of SUNS continued their consistent AFL Fantasy seasons in last weekend’s match against GWS. Their performances have been analysed below:

Jarrod Witts (RUC - $683,000)

Witts continued his outstanding season with another dominant performance against the Giants. The big man recorded 49 hitouts, but also had 15 diposals (10 kicks, 5 handballs), three tackles and six free kicks. His 110 is his fourth-best score this year.

With the bye rounds fast approaching, Witts’ consistent form is hard to ignore. He has only dropped below 90 on one occasion, in Round 8 against Max Gawn, and is averaging 102 Fantasy points per game in 2019. The SUNS have the bye in Round 14 so Witts could be a handy trade-in option for when the two most popular rucks, Gawn and Brodie Grundy, have their bye round.

Darcy Macpherson (FWD - $614,000)

Macpherson has continued his hot form of late, adding 93 Fantasy points to his total in the match against the Giants. His score was composed of 23 disposals at an impressive kick to handball ratio (18 kicks, five handballs), four marks, three tackles and a goal.

Macpherson is quickly turning into a must-have forward in Draft formats, and a possible point-of-difference forward option in Fantasy Classic. In the past month, Macpherson has compiled scores of 117, 100, 94 and 93 – and has more favourable matchups approaching. Owned by 73% of coaches in Draft, if he is still available in your league move now to snatch him up and be confident to play him on the ground.
