Gold Coast SUNS members and fans let’s take a look at who earnt AFL Coaches Votes from the Round 14 win over the Adelaide Crows at Metricon Stadium.

Stuart Dew and Matthew Nicks submitted their votes on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis for who they felt had the most impact in the SUNS 43-point victory.

Noah Anderson and Izak Rankine both led all on the ground after polling strongly with eight votes each.

Anderson had 28 disposals, six tackles and 816 metres gained throughout the match and led from the front when the game was on the line in the fourth quarter.

While Izak Rankine continued to put together a consistent season to date, his pressure was immense, notching eleven score involvements including three goals of his own. He now sits second in the competition for goal assists with 15 for the year, two behind Christian Petracca.

After receiving the Austworld Player of the Round as voted by SUNS fans, Ben Ainsworth also received seven coaches votes for his efforts. Two acknowledgements we know the hard working forward would hold in high regard.

Three votes went to Matt Rowell for his efforts in the contest against a hardened Crows midfield. The third-year midfielder had 19 disposals with 12 of them being contested to go with eleven tackles and seven clearances.

Mabior Chol received two votes for his three goal performance whilst Crows players Sam Berry and Jordan Dawson received one vote each.

Touk Miller currently leads the overall vote count for the SUNS with 50 votes.
