The Gold Coast SUNS will rely on a largely unchanged side to take on Essendon’s VFL team this weekend at the iconic Windy Hill ground.

Taking confidence from their clutch win against Frankston in Round 16, the side with relish the return of Jeremy Sharp and Rory Atkins who comes back into the team.

Charlie Constable has been solidly building form in recent weeks, while James Tsitas and Elijah Hollands will be eager to prove they have the workrate and skill required for senior selection.  

Meanwhile Ned Moyle impressed with 46 hitouts in last week’s clash.

From the team named, one of Rory Atkins, Darcy Macpherson, Jy Farrar and Jeremy Sharp will miss due to being called into the AFL side as a medical substitution.

The Gold Coast SUNS will challenge Essendon VFL at Windy Hill Oval on Sunday 17 July from 1:05pm.
