NAB Rising Star winner Jaeger O'Meara can't wait to participate in the AFL Grand Final Parade again, but next time he wants to be joined by his Gold Coast SUNS teammates.
"It was an amazing experience, there were people everywhere and even some SUNS fans who came out to support Gary and I."
Nearly 100,000 footy fans packed Melbourne streets for the AFL Grand Final parade, applauding GC SUNS pair Gary Ablett and Jaeger O'Meara.
"I didn't know what to expect, but I really enjoyed it.
"There were a heap of Western Australian's out there and they were good and everyone just loves Gary so we got a heap of support," O'Meara said.
The GC SUNS youngster had a message for his teammates though.
"It's definitely an event I want to come back to again, but with a few more mates and a heap of SUNS fans in Melbourne for a Grand Final... that would be ideal."
O'Meara and Ablett will complete a lap of honour around the MCG before the Grand Final as part of the pre-match entertainment.
