SUNS fans, it’s time to vote for the Harbour Town Premium Outlets Player of the Round following today’s historic win against Collingwood in Victoria Park.

Fresh off a six-goal outing in Round 2, Jamie Stanton made the most of her opportunities once again kicking a game-high three goals.

Claudia Whitfort and Lucy Single had game-high disposal tallies both recording 19 touches, with Single also playing a key role in nullifying the threat of Pies midfielder Bri Davey. Whitfort made an impact in at the contest as well, recording seven clearances.

The SUNS defence was immense when challenge, particularly in the second term when the game was played predominately inside the Pies forward 50. Lauren Ahrens made six intercept possessions and wore her opponent like a glove, while the collected presence of Daisy D’Arcy was crucial - she finished with 17 touches and a game-high eight tackles.

Bess Keaney and Niamh McLaughlin didn’t stop running throughout the afternoon, accumulating 29 touches between the team.

Vice-captain Jac Dupuy’s known for her big grabs inside forward 50, but she stood tall in defence in the final term with two massive contested grabs. She finished with four intercept possessions and a goal from 13 touches.
