Gold Coast SUNS VFL Captain James Tsitas has been offered a one-game suspension with an early plea for striking in the VFL Preliminary Final victory.
The act was graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.
The club can confirm it will be challenging this decision at the VFL Tribunal.
“We believe we have a strong case and look forward to it being heard at the VFL tribunal,” GC SUNS General Manager of Football Performance Wayne Campbell said.
The VFL tribunal will sit at 5.30pm tonight.
