The Gold Coast SUNS are likely to receive a boost for Saturday’s clash against the Sydney Swans with defending Club Champion Claudia Whitfort in contention to return to action.
Whitfort has missed the previous three matches through concussion and will train fully this week with an eye on being available for selection for her 50th AFLW match in Saturday’s Round 8 match at Henson Park.
Small forward Cara McCrossan will be unavailable for selection this weekend after being placed in concussion protocols following a training incident.
The SUNS will name its side on Thursday evening.
