Alex Davies and Jy Farrar have been named for their first AFL games of 2025 in Saturday’s QClash against the Brisbane Lions.

Farrar will run out for the SUNS at AFL level for the first time since 2023, while it’s Davies’ first outing since the final round of last season.

The duo are among five inclusions for Damien Hardwick’s side which also includes the return of senior duo Sam Collins and Lachie Weller, while Nick Holman also comes back into the side for the first time since Round 15.

As confirmed earlier in the week, Daniel Rioli will miss several matches with a leg injury. Ben Jepson, Jed Walter, David Swallow (all omitted) and Sam Clohesy (injured) are also outs for QClash 29.

Walter and Swallow remain among the emergencies, alongside Ned Moyle.
